AntMiner S3 Easy Setup
Provide your own 360W or higher Power Supply Unit (PSU).
Any regular computer PSU with 4 PCI-E connectors will work.
Refer to PSU Setup Guide to connect your PSU to the Antminer.
Plug in an ethernet cable to the Antminer and connect directly to your router.
Connect power cable to wall and power on the miner using the switch at the back.
Go to 192.168.1.99 with your web browser and login with "root" as username and password.
If you can't access the Antminer login page, refer to "Change Subnet" steps below.
Click the Network tab and select WAN -> Edit
Under the connection type, change the protocol to DHCP and click Save & Apply.
Click the Status tab and select Miner Configuration
Enter your pool address, worker name and password. Click Save & Apply.
Click the Miner Status tab and you should see that your Antminer S3 is now mining!
Change Subnet
Plug ethernet cable from Antminer directly to your computer.
On your computer, go to Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Centre -> Change Adapter Settings.
Right-click Local Area Connection and select Properties.
Highlight TCP.IPv4 and Click Properties
Select: Use the following IP address and enter the following:
IP address: 192.168.1.254
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
Click OK
Remove the ethernet cable from your computer and plug it back to your router.
